Sterling Bass Models
Sterling basses have a three tier system with the Ray, Ray2, and Ray3 instruments with their model number's final digit indicating 4 or 5 string, such as the Ray34 (4-String Ray3) or the Ray5 (5-String Ray). Additional special models may feature different body woods or other features, such as the Ray34PB which features Poplar Burl or the Ray34Ash, which features a Swamp Ash body.
